INKWELL LABS
A framework for understanding audience resonance through eight fundamental metrics, seven strategic dimensions, and the evolution of decision intelligence.
In the quest to understand what makes content resonate with audiences, traditional metrics fell short. Views, likes, and shares told us what happened, but not why it happened. We needed a deeper framework—one that could measure the invisible forces that create genuine connection between creation and audience.
This led to the development of the Trinity Graph: a system of eight fundamental resonance metrics that capture the multidimensional nature of audience connection. These metrics became known as the Runes—ancient symbols representing timeless principles of human response.
Each rune measures a distinct dimension of creation-audience resonance, scored from 0.0 to 1.0 to capture the strength of connection.
Is the timing right? Measures alignment between content release and cultural conversations, zeitgeist moments, and audience attention patterns.
Does it bring joy? Captures the emotional delight and happiness a creation generates, creating positive associations and repeat engagement.
Is it genuine? Measures perceived truthfulness, creative integrity, and alignment with brand values.
Will they engage? Predicts likelihood of audience action—watching, purchasing, sharing, or participating.
How sensitive is the connection? Measures vulnerability to disappointment and risk of negative response.
What surprises await? Identifies unexpected audience connections and surprise hit potential.
Do they already know it? Measures prior awareness, brand recognition, and existing relationship strength.
Does it evoke the past? Captures emotional connection to heritage, memory, and cultural history.
Each rune contains beacons—specific questions and analytical lenses that guide your investigation. Beacons help you activate the right runes for your decision context and extract actionable insights from complex data.
For example, the Synchronicity rune includes beacons like "What cultural conversations are trending right now?" and "Are there competing releases that could overshadow this launch?" These beacons direct your attention to the most relevant timing factors.
Beacons transform abstract metrics into concrete analytical workflows. They're the practical bridge between framework theory and executive decision-making.
